5-Step Patient Pathway
Our process is crafted to support you every step of the way,
we’ve designed a clear and supportive pathway to take you from evaluation to recovery. It all begins with our Free Preliminary Evaluation, a simple and guided digital experience that helps identify the best care options based on your unique symptoms and goals.

Your journey begins with a free evaluation through our easy-to-use digital tool. This simple, guided process helps us understand your symptoms, medical history, and goals—all from the comfort of your home.

Evaluation Results – Your Personalised Path
After the evaluation, you’ll receive one of three tailored recommendations

Guided Recovery– Low-Intensity Care
What This Means:
While your symptoms are painful, they do not require urgent intervention.
Suggested Path:
Begin with physiotherapy, Pilates, or a similar exercise/treatment program.
Goal:
Build strength, improve mobility, and manage pain.

Assessment Clarity– Moderate Care
What This Means:
Your symptoms require further investigation with diagnostic imaging.
Suggested Path:
Referral provided for X-rays, MRIs, or CT scans. Schedule imaging and a follow-up consultation to review results.
Goal:
Gain a precise understanding of your condition for a targeted care plan.

Immediate Action – High-Level Care
What This Means:
Your symptoms suggest a serious condition requiring immediate attention.
Suggested Path:
Prioritised 1:1 consultation with a surgeon, with advanced diagnostics arranged if necessary.
Goal:
Begin urgent treatment to address severe conditions effectively.

Step 2: Meet Your Specialist
Based on your evaluation, you’ll be connected with one of our highly skilled orthopaedic specialists.
They will:
Review your case in depth.
Discuss imaging results and diagnosis.
Create a customized care plan tailored to your condition.

Step 3: Advanced Diagnostics and Treatment Planning
If additional imaging or evaluations are needed, MOG facilitates a seamless process to gather insights for your care plan.
This may include:
X-rays, MRIs, or CT scans.
Allied health consultations to explore non-surgical options.
Surgical pre planning options

Whether your care involves physiotherapy, minimally invasive procedures, or surgery, our team will guide you through every stage of treatment.
Post-treatment, our guided digital recovery support includes:
Medication reminders.
Progress tracking for mobility and strength.
Guidance on wound care.
Follow-up appointments.

Step 5: Follow-Up and Long-Term Outcomes
After treatment, we’ll ensure your recovery is smooth with regular check-ins, follow-up appointments, and ongoing support.
Our Goal:
Not just recovery, but long-term improvements in your mobility, comfort, and quality of life.

The Free Preliminary Evaluation is an easy-to-use digital tool designed to gather information about your symptoms, medical history, and goals. Based on your responses, it provides personalized recommendations—whether allied health support, further imaging, or a specialist consultation—so you can take the right next step toward recovery.
A Green Light means your condition doesn’t require urgent intervention. We recommend starting with allied health support, such as physiotherapy, exercise programs, or Pilates, to build strength, improve mobility, and manage pain. This proactive care can help you achieve long-term results without further treatment..
An Orange Light indicates that your symptoms require further investigation to get a clear diagnosis. You’ll receive a referral for X-rays, MRIs, or CT scans, which will allow your specialist to better understand your condition and develop a targeted care plan.
If your evaluation recommends urgent specialist care (Red Light), you’ll be prioritised for a one-on-one consultation with an orthopaedic surgeon. During the appointment, your specialist will:
• Review your case and imaging results,
• Provide a clear diagnosis.
• Discuss a personalised treatment plan tailored to your needs.
How does MOG support my recovery after treatment?
Following your treatment—whether physiotherapy, a procedure, or surgery—our team remains with you every step of the way. You’ll receive tailored recovery support, including:
• Progress tracking for mobility and strength.
• Guidance on wound care or exercises.
• Reminders for follow-up appointments and medications.
Our goal is to ensure your recovery is smooth, effective, and focused on achieving long-term improvements in your health.
